It's been a busy few months for Inbetween where we've been doing a considerable amount of fundraising and developmental work with our project partners. For Inbetween we have partners in Hexham, Pontypool and Dumfries (many of whom can be found by following the links) - each representing a different part of Britain with different political processes and cultural (and other) strategies and policies. The aim of the project is to hold a series of networking symposia/events in each of these places, dealing with issues directly faced by organisations, artists and communities. Alongside this we are working with our partners to create a bespoke series of arts events or residencies which explore the research questions and issues faced by each area through practice.

The process has not always been easy but has undoubtedly been worthwhile as what is taking shape is a dynamic profile of activities that look forward with confident, risk-taking and determined attitudes. Updates on the activities for each of our locations and the research process so far are to follow.
